Avondale, Arizona Speed Traps

The Photo van will set up along here at least 2-3 times a week. There are several schools along this stretch and the speed limits will fluctuate 15-20 mphs in short stretches because of the school zones. You just have to remember to watch your speed closely

Avondale usually has the photo radar van in the afternoons parked on the north side of the road on the sidewalk. They usually have a sign posting just east of 119th ave.

This speed trap borders Avondale and Phoenix. A motorcycle officer position himself on sidewalk located on west side of 107th between Indian School and Thomas. He is hidden by trees and bushes and keeps quite busy ticketing people who exceed the 35 mph. Although a school area there are four lanes and speed limit is too low for traffic.

South of Van Buren, north of buckeye almost in front of city hall, there will be 2 motorcycles on the west side of the street.
