State troopers assigned to the Fairbanks area are always enforcing the speed limit, when patrolling the streets all the troopers always have their radar "on" wich is Ka and Vg2 radars if you have a radar detector you can always slow down on time before they read your speed, remember they have front and rear speed detectors, with your radar detector you can always listen to them when they are approaching you, a good radar detector will detect troopers about a mile away that gives you plenty of time to slow down, I have been saved from so many tickets. Don’t let them get your money.
