Interstate 40 near Mile Marker 35
They sit in the bushes right off of the exit and wait for unsuspecting motorists but mostly truckers. I believe this is harassment but it cant be proven because of who they are.
I-40W near Ozark exit (before you get to Fort Smith)
Near Ozark exit signs on I-40W, Arkansas Highway Police officers have been known to hide in the median. If you are familiar with this area, the median is NOT flat. It is very hilly and there are several places for Troopers and Highway Police to hide. Arkansas Highway Police focus on enforcing laws pertaining to the trucking industry, but they definitely WILL pull you over if you are going 10mph over the posted speed limit.
