Comox, British Columbia Speed Traps
At end of Oceanspray Rd. exiting the PMQ area on to Ryan Rd.
A Military Police cruiser sitts on the opposite side of the intersection of Ryan Rd. and Oceanspray Rd. near the driveway of the local mini-storage. He is facing towards the long straight strech of oceanspray Rd. before the interection of Oceanspray and Ryan in order to catch those exiting the PMQ’s via Oceanspray Rd. over the 30kph speed limit. It is sneaky because he is not actually sitting on Military land, yet he can see you on military land and can easily cross Ryan Rd and pull you over before you can slow down.
Anderton Road
Ghost car frequently patrols there on most mornings – usually before 8am. Pulls people over for speeding, passings, etc..
Car is usually brown/tan ford, with the give-a-way bars and ‘teeth’ at the front.
Noel Ave, front of Fire Depart (across from Rec Center)
Police Cars parked away in the fire department parking lot. Normally one radar gun & 3 cops. One on the gun two giving out tickets (30 km speed zone) Have seen this set-up at least 4 times in the last 3 weeks.
Pritchard Rd and Cambridge Rd
as you go up or down Pritchard Rd, they sit just off on Cambridge (Foxwood Cres)
Pritchard Road near Comox Avenue
Marked and unmarked cars. On my special day there were one of each.
