Leaving Kelowna – Glenmore Route to Lake Country
Northbound on Glenmore leaving Kelowna. At the entrance to the City Landfill. There’s a blind corner in both directions and they will target both directions. Usually weekends.
Corner of Wardlaw & Richter heading North on Richter
The COPs like to set up shop in the parking lot of the Odd Fellows hall on the corner of Richter & Wardlaw. They primarily target North bound vehicles and have spotters hiding in Osprey park, just past Raymer elementary.
Highway 97 Road near Exiting Lake Okanagan Bridge
Westbound on Hwy 97 just after exiting the bridge when proceeding up the hill on the curve. Radar trap is hidden because of the curve. Enforcement enhanced during bridge construction (lasting till mid-2008) and fines doubled if exceeding the 50 kph posted limit in the construction zone
State Highway 33 near McKenzie Road
Trap is set up at the bottom of the hill to catch people as the speed zone changes from 60Kph to 50 Kph. The speed limit sign was recently moved further up the hill to catch people who that expected the change near the bottom.
