Altadena, California Speed Traps
210 Freeway west at Arroyo Blvd
A motorcycle cop loves to park next to the center median and catch you as you come over the top of the hill there. He’s on the inside of a big curve in the road and can’t be seen until it’s too late
Hill Ave between New York and Washington
Got a ticket coming south on Hill. Speed limit is 25 then 30, but since it’s going downhill it’s easy to get up to 25 then coast your way up to 35+… One or Two sit on Motorcycles radar gunning people coming out of the bend (going south) and they pull you over a block or so before Washington.
No.Altadena Dr Between Glen Canyon and New York Dr
The east side of altadena dr near glen canyon behind a large hedge
Lake Avenue, between Mount Curve Ave & Concha
Especially going south on Lake. CHP sit near Farnsworth Park to catch people speeding down hill of Lake Ave. coming off Loma Alta. Loma Alta is a 30MPH zone; Lake Ave is 35MPH
Casitas Avenue
The speed limit on Casitas was changed from 35MPH to 25MPH. The trap force normally sits on the corner of Harriet St. and Casitas and points radar towards Altadena Dr. Since the the North to South direction is downhill, it’s very easy to speed on this section of road.
