Mostly in the morning, checking for stop sign runners.
A Street near E. 18th Street
The officer will hide out behind the bushes in the driveway to the church on the right hand side while traveling North on A Street.
Lone Tree Way near Walton Street
The officer waits in the church parking lot on the right hand side if you are traveling North bound towards Hwy 4. You have no way to see him until you are all the way around the bend, and by then…he’s already got you!
James Donlon Boulevard near Gentrytown Drive Drive
Heading East coming down James Donlon Blvd. the limit is 35 and you will get a ticket for anything over 40. They sit at the bottom of the hill and sometimes have 3 officers on Motorcycles to pull you over. Have seen people doing over 50.
It’s not a freeway and glad for the enforcement. Daughter in law got a ticket for doing 42 MPH.
Buchannon Road near Contra Loma Boulevard
As you come down the hill heading East on Buchannon Rd., just past San Jose Drive and all the way to Contra Loma Blvd, officers park just inside the corners of the side streets on your right. Tickets are given for anything over 35 mph. The posted limit is 30 mph. It’s very easy to gain speed down the hill and reach 40 mph.
