Whites canyon Street near soledad canyon Street
Sheriff Deputy always lurks on Whites Canyon between Soledad
Canyon and Canyon Crest.Constantly parks at the top of the curves on Whites Canyon so when you round the curve it’s too late.
State Highway 6 near Foothill Blvd and all points north on Sierra Highway Street
Police cars "hide" all along the highway in driveways, behind buildings, on private property, around curves
State Highway Sierra Highway near Between Foothill and Golden Valley
About 1/2 mile south of San Fernando Rd it is downhill and hard to maintain 50mph if you’re not attentive. Been busted once but frequently see Sheriff sitting, waiting for speeders because it’s so easy. Even with cruise control have to watch downhill speed
Whites Canyon, between Soledad and Nadal Street
Whites Canyon is a wide open 4 lane + median street with no houses facing the street. Very easy to not watch the 40 mph limit. There is a high school near by and lunch hour and 2-3 pm are prime times for radar, but they are there all hours. Because the street has casual bends it blinds you as you approach, the sheriff parks under shade trees (about 1/2 mile north of Soledad) and scans you as you come around the bend. Does the same to south bound traffic. Motorcycle radar is based in the storm-wash access roads and scans from there. Very agressive (somewhat needed with the high school & Jr. High near by during school hours), but they scan at all times because it is an easy ticket.
