Lake Elsinore, California Speed Traps
South Bound I15 under Franklin overpass
Between the Main St exit and the railroad canyon exit there is an overpass with no ramps. CHP will near there just after the crest of the hill.
Northbound I15entrance @ Main
CHP sit at the end of the bushy area between the on-ramp and the slow lane, this is a downhill area easy to pick up speed, they are well hidden and they’re using radar but can be picked up with a detector. Caution- also seen with LIDAR.
15 Fwy. and McNicholls off ramp.
Highway Patrol contantly sit at the top of the overpass viewing both Northbound and Southbound traffic. Very well hidden.
Grand Ave. North of Highway 74
I got it for 47 in a 40 – across the street from the trailer park on a bike – watch out for DUI patrol in the same area holidays and weekends.
McVicker Canyon Park Rd
This street is wide and very steep but with a 25mph speed limit. Several spots where police hide are near the water pumping station driveway, the parking lot of the baseball fields and with the way the road is layed out, it plateau’s out in several areas where you can’t see them as you approach, officers are just sitting there pointing their radar guns and by the time you see them it’s too late. It’s worth riding your brakes down the hill and chugging along up the hill.
