Lodi, California Speed Traps
S. Pacific Avenue near Elm Street
Two motorcycle officers are almost always waiting for high schoolers coming out of the Lodi High parking lot. The speed limit on Pacific is somewhat fair, but what is not fair is that the cops will give you tickets inside the parking lot, before you even get onto the road.
Ham Lane near Lodi Avenue
Traveling on Ham lane, going from Lodi Ave. towards Elm Street, there is often a cop hiding out in the Zion church parking lot. He is hidden by houses on the Lodi Ave. side and the church on the Elm St. side. Usually has lights off or on the low beam, so even as you pass the church he is very hard to spot. Late at night it is rather safe to go at speeds higher than posted because there is no one out, but the cop is always there waiting for speeders.
Mills Avenue near Harney Lane
