Olympic Avenue near Highland Avenue

Los Angeles, CaliforniaJun 04, 20080 Comments

So its actually a couple blocks east of Highland. (cant remember the side street name). Usually towards the end of the month cops will sit here and tag people, one after another, write them a ticket, then go back to the spot. They will tag in both directions on Olympic, but mainly heading west. They will even sit in peoples driveways and tag you from behind a wall or garbage cans. Always on motorcycles. Got tagged once a year and a half ago, thing was he didnt have his radar gun up, but once i saw him and slowed down, he pulled me over and said i was going 55 in a 35, said he saw my car dip down and that was his clue that i was speeding.

Rodeo Road near LaCienega Boulevard

Los Angeles, CaliforniaMay 09, 20080 Comments

Several Motorcycle Cops hide in the strip mall on the SE Corner of Rodeo Rd/LaCienega watching for cars driving westbound on Rodeo to LaCienega in the middle "gutter lane." (a center divider lane that divides opposing traffic) Alot of motorists are impatient in the bumper to bumper traffic trying to get to the left turning lane on LaCienega and speed up that lane to past traffic and as soon as they get to that strip mall the motor cops guides them into the strip mall parking lot to issue them a ticket! They usually pull over 5 cars at a time! Watch Out!
