Los Angeles, California Speed Traps
Forest Lawn
Forest Lawn is right off Barham Blvd in the Hollywood hills area of Los Angeles right before you get into burbank blvd. Forest Lawn is also the road that leads to Forest Lawn Cemetery. DO NOT SPEED ON FOREST LAWN. There seems to be a cop hiding in the Forest Lawn Cemetery parking lot ALL THE TIME. I have lived in the area for 20 years and there is rarely a week that goes by there isn’t a cop dooling put tickets on that road. The speed limit is 40MPH but it is such a desolate road most people can’t help want to put the pedal to the metal. There is always a smokey waiting for you …so spare yourself the giant fine. Also….Barham Hill is a feeding frenze for police writing speeding tickets. It a HUGE downhill road that is very easy to pick up speed on…..and the Copers know this. Good luck.
Sepulveda Blvd. @ I-10 overpass
Motorcycle officers park under the I-10 overpass and radar passing cars. Limit is 35, traffic is normally 40-45+.
Beverly Blvd., between Highland and Rossmore (where Wilshire Country Club is on both sides of the street)
There’s a pull-in for the golf course used for maintenance off to one side of the road; police cars can be seen sitting there watching traffic going both ways for speeding. Watch for brake lights ahead of you, sometimes they can be a tip-off that a car’s there.
Laural Canyon
With-in a 5 block area of the elementary school there are at least 3 patrol cars and 3 foot cops stoping and giving tickets
