Palo Alto, California Speed Traps
Alma between Greenmeadow Way and San Antonio Road
1 cop with a gun, standing by the roadside, then about 4 cop cars approximately 50 yards down the road. My detector never beeped; the ticket has a "2" written in the radar box. The cop who stopped me was not the one with the gun; she walked out in the middle of the street into oncoming traffic, with no stop sign and *held out her hand* to stop me. When I asked to see the gun that was used to accuse me of speeding (this is a major commuter thoroughfare), she said it had already been cleared, so I was denied seeing any evidence of the charge of speeding, and there were many cars around me going similar speed. The cop who walked out in front of me in the middle of traffic endangered her life, mine, and the drivers’ lives around me.
