Johnson Drive – Larkspur Landing Parking Lot
Usually motor cycle cops stationed at the entrance/exit of Larkspur Landing Hotel driveway. Johnson Drive goes toward Home Depot.
Interstate 680S near Exit Number Stoneridge
Be aware of a speed trap heading S on the 680 Freeway in Pleasanton right before the Stoneridge exit and the ramp where the 580 E merges onto the 680. CHP are usually in plain sight off in the shoulder with their lasers aimed.
Stoneridge Mall Road near Interstate 680/580 Junction
Pleasanton police hide in Mall lots on a regular basis. Hard to see, general traffic pace exceeds the limit of 30, drivers believe they’re on a private road, not a city street. Target both shoppers and those who work in buildings around the mall road.
W. Las Positas Boulevard near US Highway 680
Police will sit at the bottom of the overpass on either side to catch both eastbound and westbound drivers as they come down the overpass. The speed limit is 35mph and they will ticket for as little as 4 miles over the limit. The police catching westbound traffic is watching for people who roll through the stop sign at the end of the overpass and coming down the hill from Foothill Blvd.
