Motorcycle officers located in the driveway of the High School between Governor Drive and Decoro St, using laser gun to take speed readings in the early morning hours where the speed limit is 45 mph while there is no school session or children are around.
Point Loma Library (Voltaire and Worden Streets)
There are cops in the parking lot of the Point Loma Library right now waiting to catch speeders on Voltaire. They are here once in awhile pretty often.
North bound Copley dr. north of Copley Park Pl.
Copley Dr. is a continuation of Ruffner St.Turning right off of Copley Park Dr. onto Copley Dr. the speed limit sign is very close to the corner on a high post nearly in the trees, it’s easy to miss while turning, Posted 35. Copley park Pl. is posted 40 with Quite a number of driveways, Copley Dr. is a wide open road running over a rise with a left curve. It’s easy to gain speed, the officer sits in the first driveway on the right after coming down the hill. They get a shot of you before you can even see them.

CHP motorcycle with radar stationary on shoulder. Catches people cresting the steep grade from the 8 when your natural tendency is to linger on the throttle too long and pick up speed unintentionally. Nailed the lady behind me and she wasnt even 10 over the limit.

College ave between Montezuma Rd and El Cajon Blvd
College avenue north of el cajon blvd, san diego is a HUGE speed trap. The speed limit drops from 35 to 25 south of Montezuma rd. by the senior center. A motorcycle cop with radar is there every day of the year and writes 20 tickets per day. $300-$500 ticket.
