Clark Avenue near St. Isadore’s church/school
Bike cops are usually posted either on top of the hill or the bottom of the hill near St. Isadores church, snagging you in either direction. The speed limit is 25 MPH, so if you’re in this area keep a close eye up ahead.
F Street near 3rd Avenue
Photo radar heavily enforced began June 1, 2005. Within 1 week over 2000 tickets issued due to failure to stop behind ‘first’ white line at crosswalk when attempting to turn right. Ticket reason will state ‘Failure to stop at red light.’ Blind right side corner was given as reason for new photo radar. Four new ones going in over next few months. Ticket is $370.
Gray Avenue near Gray Avenue School
The Motor-Cops sit back near Gray Avenue School and tend to "blend" in the background. They are not very visible to traffic as you are watching for children crossing and parents are darting in and out of the parking lot picking up kids.
State Highway s/b S.R. 99 near entering city limits sign
Entering the city from the north, via s/b S.R. 99, posted speed limit decreases from 65 to 45 w/ very minimal signage and minimum distance. Motor officer on right e. parking apron with hand-held radar gun and hot pencil.
Highway 99, 10 miles south of Yuba City
The speed limit on Hwy 99 is 65mph and then there is a sudden change to 55mph no warning signs to slow down.
