Berthoud, Colorado Speed Traps

There is a large hill where the speed limit is 65. A cop usually sits on the West side at the very bottom of the hill with a radar gun. If you don’t want to get pulled over you need to use your brakes or slow down significantly before getting to the hill. I found this out one night and got 2 points and a $99 ticket.
County Road 17, Just North of Mountain Avenue
Cops sit behind a sign at County Rd. 17 (Taft Rd.) on Lake Avenue next to Adams Bank, timing South-bound traffic as it enters Berthoud. Speed limit goes from 55 to 45 to 35 in a short distance, causing many to exceed the limit at the 35 sign just before Lake Ave.

Larimer County Cops on CR17 between CR2E and CR4. Also, Berthoud cops known to camp out on CR17 north of CR4 and south of Welch.
287 and 56 corner Loop near 287 and 56 corner Crossing
Berthoud cops sit in the driveway directly in the middle of the corner or in the propane truck company parking lot. they will pull you over for false rolling stop signs, speeding 5 over, not signaling, even taking the corner "to fast" watch out!
Mountain View Avenue near Hays Market
The cop sits across from Hays Market in a driveway right where the speed limit changes from 40 to 30 and if you don’t slow down he’ll pull you over for 5 over.
