Colorado Springs, Colorado Speed Traps
Austin Bluff Parkway near Braddock Drive
This spot is known for having about 8 motorcycle police sitting on Braddock Rd. facing west toward Austin Bluffs Parkway. A marked car will sit near Research Pkwy or Woodmen Rd (facing north or south) and radio ahead to Braddock Rd, where the motorcycle police will pull out from and stop you. Frequently on nice days.
Aeroplaza Drive near Fountain Boulevard
Speed trap consists usually of 2 CSPD Motorcycle Cops hiding mid-way from either intersection on Aeroplaza Drive. A high fence hides the Cop ( and radar signal) when approaching from Fountain Blvd. The Cops are in plain sight when approaching from Powers Blvd. But well hidden on the Northbound side by Gateway Business Plaza.
US Highway Old 83 near Pikes Peak Community College Perimiter
Cop waits at bottom of hill at the entrance to Pikes Peak Community College Rampart Range Campus. May be using Radar of Lidar. Constant police presence. Sometimes hides among the cars in the parking lot. Speed limit is an extremely restrictive 25mph. I have safely driven it at 40mph when cops were not present, but I think the city would set it at 30-35 if there wasn’t a college there. The road is un-named so I did the best I could. No night enforcment to my best knowledge.
Chelton Road near Airport Road
They wait in an cop car, unmarked suburban or motorcycle on a side street off next to the golf court of Chelton going north towards Airport before the signal there. The speed limit is 30mph there and I see someone pulled over there ever so often.There there on and off any time of day so you should just be aware of your speed limit and you’ll be fine.
if you dont want a ticket…..{^_^}

Dublin Boulevard near Montarbor Drive
Motorcycle officers or patrol cars will park on residential side street and wait for cars coming down the hill on either side. It’s easy to get 10mph over without trying too hard. Can also be found West of Academy between Academy and Vincent in residential areas.
