Dillon, Colorado Speed Traps
Dillon
I70 bridge and Hwy 9. Coming down the hill on Highway 9 toward i-70. I live in Texas, visiting the Silverthorne/Dillon area for the 2nd time. Picked up speed coming down the hill. Too late-the red lights come in. 10 miles above for literally 4 to 5 seconds. The officer clearly had NO interest in cutting me slack: it was obviously a quota-driven stop. Guess it is not enough for Texans to prop up their economy with tourism, they have to shake us down when we come.
north out of city at elementary school
As you proceed north out of town, the speeds increase. Then a cop sits at the elementry school, where a reduced speed is. Always there after school.
