Erie, Colorado Speed Traps

This is a bridge on a curve at the bottom of the hill just after Montgomery. It’s a 25mph zone. They sit way off the road and you don’t even know where they come from.

That straight a way between the first round about on Vista and County Line road where there is nothing but fields, the cops hide in several places as well as stay mobile. That should be at least 50 which is what everyone drives it at. They pop you left and right. 35mph don’t forget it.

So the cop hides on the old rail raod tracks between two berms of dirt. He gets you going north or south on WCR 7. IT’s only 35mph when it should be 55mph. Careful going to the Harley dealership the back way. It may cost ya.

So if the cop isn’t hiding by the bridges in the 25mph zone, he goes up the hill to Baxter Farm Lane and hides behind the bushes. We all know this field area should be at least 45 or 50 yet it’s 35 and they hand the tickets out.

A lot of my buddies got hit here. The cop sits on the south side of the road on the bottom of the hill just after airport. He stops for everything including 10 over.
