Fort Carson, Colorado Speed Traps

El Paso County Sheriff usually sets up on the West of 115 here on Wednesdays…it’s a long, downhill heading south out of Colorado Springs, and if you aren’t paying attention, he’ll be waiting for you!

This is the second night in a row I’ve got a speeding ticket by LIDAR and a RADAR unit sitting right next to each other in the TMC 10 parking lot late at night. They sit at the bottom of that hill as you come in Gate 4 and get you as you come speeding down that hill which is a 30 mph zone. The MP’s that pulled me over were the same as the previous night and even on the 3rd night in a row i came in they were there again, they are there almost every night. I must say though they are very hard to see and that the MP’s sure know how to hide…
