Highway 287 from north city limit to south city limit
Saying they need to "generate more revenue" (to pay for more police officers) the city will set up frequent speed traps to "strictly enforce" speed limits along 287.

S. Public Road & Miner’s Dr. (coming into town)
As you turn right off hwy 287 at the light to turn into Lafayette, the road going around the curves of Public Road (and over the bridge) is 25. Then it turns into 30. I got a ticket for doing 44 in the 30 zone. The cop told me he had given 13 tickets that day there. I don’t know the specific type of radar he uses.
