Sterling, Colorado Speed Traps
Approximately 1-1/2 miles N of Sterling on Hwy. 138
State patrol and Logan County Sheriff’s posse sit on the northbound side of 4-lane that is 55 mph waiting for southbound traffic that just came from a 2-lane that was 65 mph. If they were truly concerned about our safety wouldn’t they patrol the two lane where 99.9% of the accidents are? Truly a speed trap!

HP and or Sheriff Cars sit on a rise in the road about 2-3 blocks to the south of exit 134 interchange, targeting east bound traffic. The radar gun gets you from the side with very little warning. Patrol cars ars are not very visible until its to late due to hilly landscape.
