Andover, Connecticut Speed Traps

Route 6 between Bolton CT and Columbia CT. Resident Trooper gets Grants to pay for extra monitoring. Speed limit is 55 except through "center of Andover" which is then reduced to 40. New widening of Route 6 makes it easier to go faster than 40/55. State Trooper especially like to catch young adults. There are times when additional troopers are working with resident in radar traps. Troopers vehichle – other than lights – can almost be missed until its too late.
