Stevens St from Middle School to Farmington Border
A favorite place for speeders who come into Bristol from Farmington usually in a.m going to work or in p.m. coming home- heading west. Police hide off the road , side street or just over the crest of the hill.
At times, the police look for speeders heading east toward Farmington. Hiding places are over the crest of the hill or church parking lot. Middle School side street works well at times also
State Route rt 6 near Burlington Avenue
Usually all of RT 6, especially from Burlington Ave to Stafford Ave. Dont speed on RT6 you will get a ticket!
Jerome Avenue near Mines Road
Car parks on side of road usually but sometimes in sidestreet. Just on the south side of the Burlington/Bristol town line. Catches people coming over slight hill from Burlington into Bristol. Usually in morning and evening rush.
Farmington Avenue near Jerome Avenue
The police car parks in the parking lot of KFC at the intersection of Farmington Ave. (route 69) and Jerome Ave. Posted speed limit is 45 mph, and the officer will pull over anyone going over, even if by 5 mph. Be extremly careful past the light of Jerome Ave and Farmington Ave.
Mix Street near State Route 69
Police cars will often and frequently park in the empty parking lot; south of the Giamatti Center. Posted speed limit is 35, the car is highly visable and rarely pulls people over unless speeding excessively.
