West District Road near West District School
Traveling east on this road as you are approaching the school, you will see an officer standing on the opposite street corner just before the school entrance with a radar gun. It’s tough to spot him until you’re coming out of the curve. Posted speed limit is 25. Watch for sudden brake lights on the car in front of you to avoid trap.
State Route 6 near Tunxis College

State Route 6 near Interstate 84 East
Where Rt. 6 meets I-84 East ramp, the Farmington PD sit on a hidden island of grass right at the entrance of the highway. They can get you coming either way but mostly get the Rt. 6 drivers coming from the direction of Bristol. You cannot see them until it is too late. The speed limit here is 35 MPH which is terribly low. There is a history of accidents here as well, but its not due to speed, its due to the fact that drivers entering I-84 East heading east on Rt. 6 do Not have a stop sign when entering the highway.

Every other day, my buddy and I drive down RT 6 and hit 84 to go to school. On more than one occasion, we’ve spotted one or two cops sitting at the exit to the Connecticare parking lot. Its a 45 MPH zone, so if you speed, just make sure youre in traffic.
