There will be a tan van with the back window open, and they will sit near Horsetooth on Stover, usually monitoring the northbound traffic, or just north of Drake monitoring northbound traffic. The big silver flash bulb thingy kind of stands out. There is a person sitting in the van, so if your front plate is obscured, they will just read your rear plate as you pass by.

I have been nailed on Columbia between Stover and Lemay, and on Swallow between Shields and College, near Beattie Park by Meadowlark St.

They like to sit under a shady tree or just in front of another parked car. I have received 5 of these tickets in the past 6 mos, one on Swallow, one on Columbia the rest on Stover.
