Glastonbury, Connecticut Speed Traps
Beware the letters UTZ!
Many of the state police cars (marked and unmarked) were purchased/registered around the same time. Many of them have UTZ as the last three letters of their license plates. Not all of them do, but I have counted a significant number of police cars, marked and unmarked, with such plates all over the Hartford area. So, if you see these three letters on the back of any car, you’d better act right. Other than that the plates are normal (### UTZ).
