Hartford, Connecticut Speed Traps
On Albany, eastbound, near Homestead, across from UHART.
The road bends downwardly (e.g., on a hill) as you leave WH, and near the bottom an officer will casually walk out in front of your car and gesture for you to pull off the road. Your car will have easily picked up momentum coming down the hill, and if you are not riding your brakes, you will drift above the speed limit of 30 mph, and you will get a ticket.
US Highway I-84 Eastbound at I-384 split.
Police are hidden by signs that go across the highway, once you see them it’s to late

When coming out of Hartford the speed limit is 55mph. A police officer (sometimes unmarked camaro) sits right at the beginning of the commuter lane behind the cement divider (right near the city dump). He is hard to see until it is too late.
