Middletown, Connecticut Speed Traps
I 91 N near exit 18?
As you are aware, the speed limit for I 91 is 65mph. As you approach near exit 18 where the roads get divided to I 691 and route 15, the speed limit is 55 mph.
There is always a State Trooper in the middle of the highway on the grass during the night and I was pulled over on 74 mph as I did not notice the speed limit was decreased to 55 mph. So be careful guys.
Randolph Road–Xavier High School
State police have taken to hiding in the Xavier driveway closest to the route 9 interchange. This is a nighttime speed trap and never used during the school day (i don’t know about the summer, though) Be careful going down the hill!
Also, it’s only state police I have seen there.
Rt 66 from 691 until the center of town. Rt 66 from 691to w
The speed limit there is 40 and should be at least 50 because it is wide open. I got pulled over for going 61
