Many times police are parked doing speed checks in the schools on Slater Road and there are many schools in a whole line of Slater Road – like 4 in a row. Also they park on side streets taking radar with another police up the road to make the stops.

Troopers sit in the shoulder in the Northbound lane, nailing people not smart enough to look forward enough. Not that hard, but they used to do a variation of this, which is SICK and really preditory. Three our four troopers will line up on the CT-72 ramp going to Rt. 9 North. You can’t see them, they get behind you, and bam, you’re toast. Really evil is at times, they will set a decoy before the ramp and get you on the recovery acceleration. Not a common practive, over a two year period of commutiong, only once did I see the convoy.
