Trumbull, Connecticut Speed Traps
State Route 25 near State Route 111
when heading on 25 north just prior to reaching 111 (or heading on 25 south just past 111 intersection), there is a connecting road in the middle of the highway where often a cop is parked, usually facing the side heading northbound, with a radar gun.
Monroe Turnpike near Exit Number 8 Northbound to the Merritt Pkwy
There is a new big SUV that backs up under the bridge you go under on Rt 25 Southbound. Although I don’t see radar it is probably used. So besides the median cut through where they are always parked the new site is under the bridge backed up and really sneaky.
State Route 8 near Exit Number Between 7 and 5 South
When i come around the corner and you are about to see the bridge. They park there.
Edison Road near One way road that splits off of Edison Rd.
If traveling down Edison Rd towards Church Hill, you can’t see the cop hiding behind a bush that is right before the one-way road (name unknown, but its the only one-way road in the area). If you are traveling towards Main St then you can see the "Do Not Enter" sign that leads to the road that branches off to the left of Edison and to the right of that sign you can see a large bush next to a tree. The cop sits between the tree and bush out of site to the drivers traveling towards Church Hill. The cop can get you by suprise even if you are traveling towards Main St. While traveling that direction, about 1/8 mile before the cop there is a hill in the road and as you crest over it, you dont expect to see a cop straight ahead but he has a straight shot of you on radar.
Whiteplains Road near Christian Heritage School
Every so often there is an officer sitting behind a stone pilar on his motorcycle. He sits deep in the school zone and gets you just as you enter the school zone (2x fine).
