Officers sit in the center of I-84 at exits 17-21 often. They usually use two cars to watch west and east bound traffic around 2-3:00 pm.
North Main Street near North Main St and Chase Ave Crossing
Police car sits in Church compound exit area just after a hill, so by the time you see him it’s too late. The posted limit is 25 mph, but most people go 35 mph on this road.
Aurora Street near US Highway Route 8 North-Left hand Exit 36
Police monitor speed on Aurora Street between the two highway on-ramps of Route 8. They sit in the parking lots and are well hidden by all the large, brick buildings. They are in the cable parking lot, restaurant parking lot and various other lots. Monitor mostly for speed.
US Highway 84 near Exit Number 21

Country Club Road near residential
Waterbury PD has bikes now that they use. Radar has been heavy, catching college students from TPU, running late to class. The speed limit is 25, so they say, but its common seeing people fly at 50 or 60.
