Westport, Connecticut Speed Traps
Exit 18 connector near US Rte 1
Local police are pulling people over one after the other.
Westport, CT Bridge Street
If your coming down bridge street towards south compo be aware the police park off road in what looks to be a driveway just past the Asumptoon cemetery.
They’ll be looking for you to sail though the stop sign and or be on your cellphone. A certain legacy officer is a real peace of work and has a record of pulling vehicles over and will say. “Oh ya I’ve pulled you over here five years ago.”
Be careful not to pull into the bike lane making a right turn onto south compo too. That’s where you’ll get the flashing lights and be pulled over. You’ll have multipal infractions. Just save you all a bundle.
Bayberry Lane at the Westport-Weston Health District
Many people use the residential road that leads down to the Post Road as a speedway so police hide in the driveway of the Health District/Observatory. It is just about under the Merritt Parkway overpass so people driving south cannot see the car. The speed limit on the road is 25 and they’ll usually give you a 5 MPH break but not much more than that.
I-95
Right after the I-95, exit 18 South off-ramp, there is a slight rise, enough to hide the cruiser until it’s too late to see him.
The unit is there during the day and during commuting hours. There is a 5 MPH forgiveness, but not much more than that!
Norden Pl & Triangle exit 17
There are always cops sitting behind the rocks almost on the on ramp for exit 17 south bound. Be careful my V1 radar dosent pick them up until the last minute.
