Debary, Florida Speed Traps

Motorcycle cop works both roads. Jumps out of weeds in front of you car with his hand up to stop. Basically scaring you..really who does this? Highly unprofessional! Says you were speeding but refuses to show you radar. What a set up!

Motorcycle cop waits for you to come off 45mph limit into a small strip 35mph,,u cant see him,hidden in trees,, he just jumps out on the road & puts his hand up for you to stop,,Really?? I thought he was some nut trying to car jack me!!! Very unsafe & unprofessional,,They just do anything to take your hard earned money!! He does it like this cuz it;s a faster way to take your money rather than doing it the proper way!!!! The speed traps in this state are out of control. Very unfair to the public!! & something needs to be done to help the harworking people being robbed daily!!!!

If you’re heading towards Doyle/Dirksen Rd. on US 17-92 just past the Spring View community, there is a large power line that crosses the road. There is a small station for access to the power lines to the right, a Volusia County officer likes to back in and shoot radar. It’s impossible to see him as you’re heading towards Doyle/Dirksen Rd. because of the tree line as you’re coming down the hill.

Car or motorcycle under tree or inconspicuous place.

Hides in Culdesac or half a block away, sometimes in an unmarked car.
