Deerfield Beach, Florida Speed Traps

Exiting Sawgrass Expressway (Northbound) through the Deerfield Beach Toll Plaza, be on the lookout for a tag team of Troopers; one the guns your speed facing you on the median to your left, while 1/4 mile to your right, (on SW 10th), to pull you over. Speed limit through plaza is a ridiculously low, (even in the SunPass Lane) and decelerating from the 70 MPH Expressway limit is strongly recommended. Staying in middle lane and slowing down to no more than 50 MPH should keep you out of the trap.

A Motorcycle Cop has been shooting laser on the South side of Wiles road in either directions he sits under a BIG tree he’s on the opposite side of the warehouses between Powerline and Military. I’ve seen him 4 times mostly in the mornings anywhere from 7am-11am

Sheriff’s deputies occasionally park so as to catch folks coming eastbound over the overpass crossing I-95 a bit too fast. The posted speed limit is 40, and it’s a 4 lane road, and very tempting.

When school zone light is in effect (flashing). The motorcycle cops are there. Beware!
