Lantana, Florida Speed Traps

PBC Sheriff sits in car at the plaza entrance where the storage facility & gas station are and waits for speeders going eastbound on Lantana, just before the jog & lantana intersection. He is there in the early morning 4-5 am. You can’t see him until you get right near him.

Lantana Police park their cars out of view in Hypoluxo Point Residential area and Neptunes Square Office Park. They clock speeders heading northbound on Federal Highway. This is located about a mile south of Hypoluxo Road on Federal Highway. They are typically there in the mornings but have been spotted at other times. I work in the office park and see them there frequently. The speed is posted 40 mph but cars travel well in excess of this speed.

North of Lantana Rd. on Military Trail on the east side. Atlantis police officers hide at the entrance of their community. You are technically in Atlantis City Limits on this stretch of road from Lantana to Melaleuca/6th Ave. They have their own police station and the officers can pull anyone over surrounding their community’s borders- which extend all the way to Congress Ave. Officers will pull anyone over- even going 47mph in this 45mph zone. The officers also act arrogant. Beware!

Normal flow of traffic is at 55 MPH, It is like fishing in a barrel there.

10 plus motorcycle police awaiting with laser guns and ka radar both alerted from my bel 985 thankfully, most use the radar but if your the one who gets it with laser, theres no getting away. your caught!!! daily everytime I goto work, they are there mon-fri. Just north of lantana rd and congress ave on congress. 5-10 motorcycles plus Atlantis police are here as well helping write out the tickets. Beware!
