Officer utilizing a stationary RADAR observing traffic heading southbound and northbound on SW 62 Ave and SW 44 St. Traffic heading northbound are more likely to speed above the posted 30 MPH, as they head towards SW 40 St (Bird Road). Officer sits on the east side of SW 62 Ave and SW 44 St facing northbound.

72nd Street near 68th Avenue

Heading towards South Miami Downtown district! Than watch your speed as you head eastbound on Sunset Drive, SW 72 St. On the Southside shoulder of SW 72 St and 68 Ave there are Patrol and Motor Officers having a ball stopping violators going excessively over the speed limit of 40 MPH.

North Miami Avenue near NW 20th Street Street

Just south of 20th street on North Miami Avenue (Past the train tracks and the fire station), about 20 cops from Miami PD gather with radars to pull over speeders. Normally work day mornings (Mon-Fri). Speed Limit is 30 MPH where they are at but north of 20th street its 35 MPH. The 30 MPH Limit sign is so far south and off to the right that it can’t be seen it until extremely close up. You could miss it completely.

State Route 878 near 72nd Avenue

FHP will camp out at the 72nd Ave exit of SR878 (Snapper Creek Xway) to catch speeders as they come down the hill from 87th Ave. No less than 10 Troopers that will stop you wheter you stay on the Xway or getting off at 72nd Ave.
