Winter Park, Florida Speed Traps

WPPD hides on the streets lining Aloma Ave near the intersection of Aloma and Lakemont. People are usually pulled over into the street at the small park on the side of Aloma.Also, the cruisers sometimes sit exposed in the turn ins. They also pull people over onto Sylvan Blvd’s large turn in. Not a very hot area, but people do get ticketed along this stretch of road, number of stops goes up a bit during the holidays.

On Fairbanks Ave., heading east just before intersection of 17-92. They set up at Cox-Parker Funneral home.

Officers sit on the side of the road for westbound traffic with laser. They flag in the violators westbound and call out the violator eastbound to officers waiting just up the street.
