Griffin, Georgia Speed Traps

GSP sitting in median turn lanes. Cannot be seen from northbound or southbound until too late.

I got stopped here on a Sunday afternoon by the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office. There were 3-4 other cars stopped as well. I was speeding and knew it-often have through here, so I can’t argue with a ticket. just wanted readers to be aware of this area. The officer was very friendly and fair (actually lowered the ticket by 5mph). Its EASY to speed through here though. have many many times. much faster than I was going that day. The speed limit is 55. I’d keep it within 10.
