Holly Springs, Georgia Speed Traps
State Highway 5 near Crossroads School
They have a school zone there for Crossroads High School and it’s 25 MPH all day long (7:00 – 3:30). There is a small black and white sign, but no overhead sign or flashing school zone lights. I had never heard of an all day school zone. I understand a school zone for two hours each morning and two hours each afternoon. I was cited at 10:57 a.m.! It is a major speed trap! It’s already a 35MPH zone which is a little slow for a highway anyway.

Officers routinely patrol West of Interstate 575 on Sixes Road. Several officers seen at all times of day with Radar and Laser. Usually stop vehicles traveling at 50MPH+ in a 35MPH zone. Slow down and use extreme care in this area!

It is not unusual to see 3 police officers in a 5 mile stretch of road. This is a clear road with moderate traffic. You have to go at least 10 miles over the speed limit in this area in order to not get run over by other cars.
