Johns Creek, Georgia Speed Traps

Cop located just past Hampstead Way on shoulder road which goes into Hampton Hall subdivision, at the bottom of a hill. Speed limit is a strict 35 on Parsons Rd.

Motorists beware while traveling on McGinnis Ferry and crossing Peachtree Industrial. This traffic light does not stay yellow long enough to pass under it while it is changing. You will almost always have the light turn red on you before you make it to the other side.

Almost every East-bound moving vehicle while the traffic light changes color from green can be ticked!!

There is almost always an officer (sometimes car, sometimes motorcycle) in front of the school just past one of the school zone signs. I have never received a ticket as I always slow WAY down, but I always see people pulled over. It is a speed trap, but I can’t say I dislike this one. I am all for strict enforcement of speed limits in school zones. So please, slow down in them everyone and let’s keep the kids safe and our wallets fatter!

Posted speed limit is 35 MPH. Long hill from Old Alabama to Nesbit Ferry . Watch out especially Old Alabama down to The Ridge Subdivision.

The light at 141 and Johns Creek Parkway has no left turn light for traffic trying to make a u-turn or a left turn to head south. I was ticketed here for "running a red light" in order to make the turn. $200.
