Police ‘tag teaming’ for speed violations
Southbound into Hilo area from Kamuela in a rented car about midnight, no traffic, no weather. Car came out of bushes, and tailgates us for miles. Can’t lose him, and told my wife we were in some kind of trouble. As soon as we passed a 45 MPH sign at 55, he made a u-turn, while his buddy zoomed out of nowhere with blue light flashing. Reported this scam to the court, and they reduced my fine.
