Highway 12 East to Montana border
This is a desolate stretch of very scenic highway that has a posted speed of 50 mph. Yes, 50 mph and this is extremely slow even for the curvy nature of the road and heavily patrolled even though there is not one town between Kooskia and the MT border. A definite trap where you will be pulled over with a fine averaging 10 per mph.
