Middleton Road on the South Side of the Boise River
The City of Middleton has annexed the bridge and property proceeding the Bridge on the South Side of the Boise River. It is at least 1/2 mile before the “Welcome to Middleton” sign. Speeds change with little notice from 50 to 35 mph with no notice of “Entering Middleton” or “reduce speed ahead”. Cops wait in the recreational areas on both sides of the bridge. They use the speed difference to write enhanced tickets for more than $160 if you continue to drive 50 in their speed trap.
Hwy 44, also known as State Street, between Hwy 16 and I-84
Roving and lurking stationary city and county units abound along State Street as well as Middleton Road between State Street and Hwy 20/26. Increment speed postings vary between 25 and 50/55 mph.
1 mile west of Emmett road on Willis road

I-84 east of exit 25 Middleton
Canyon county sheriff/ID state police sit in the median. The 80 mph zone drops to 65 mph in the eastbound lanes.

Cops sit in the parking lot and watch for people to speed. Speed limit is 25 some dont realize and go 35.
