Stanley, Idaho Speed Traps

Random Idaho Troopers in the area, your chances are higher in getting a speeding ticket toward Ketchum but they do have speedtraps set up in Stanley from time to time. Pay attention to speed signs and make sure you have your Valentine One in the windshield

The only Stanley cop sits off of either side of the road on Hiway 21 as you come into town. This is a tourist town and its very easy to prey on out of state visitors as they wont contest the citation.

City of Stanley cops are ticketing tourists as they go thru town on routes 21 and 75. We were there for half an hour and saw them write 5 tickets, all on out of state vehicles.

Officer sits where it is difficult to see, speed coming from the west is lowered too far out of town and unrealistic, town is very small has three officers, uses gestapo type tactics
