Campton Hills, Illinois Speed Traps

This area has a 50 and 45MPH speed limit. Hills and curves and roads hidden by trees make this a favorite speed trap. Mostly in the daytime hours

Campton Police sit in the parking lot of the County Assessors office on Old LaFox 1/10th of a mile South Of Campton Trail Rd and just North of the Great Western Trail.

Cop sits off the side of the road going westbound with his lights off, nearly impossible to see heading east, heading west should be fine. There are no street lights out there so it’s pitch black

They like to sit with their lights off at night on Corron Road Between McDonald Rd. and Silver Glen Rd.

They also sit with their lights off across from the cemetery North of Bolcum Rd. on Corron Rd.

Another spot on Corron Road is by the Campton Hills Hwy Dept building.

The Campton Hills cop likes to sit between the Campton Hills Highway Department’s garage and Highway Department’s office building. Hard to see going east until its too late but west bound drivers have time to flash headlights and warn oncoming traffic.
