Irving Park Road near Between Oak Park and Harlem Avenue
The Chicago Police will setup anytime of the day, they have been seen out there more on the weekend evenings to late night. They will usually park inbetween cars on the southside of Irving Park and run radar half hidden. Speeds are posts, as well as the alderman will put out a "Your Speed Is…" machine to show motorists their speed.
Forest Preserve Drive near Belmont Avenue
This trap is set up on Forest Preserve Dr. east of Belmont Ave.in the parking lot of Indian Boundry golf course, I have seen it there twice in the last 2 weeks. They setup the laser next to the Indian Boundary fence and point it East to catch West bound cars. The chase cars are in the Indian Boundry parking lot. The times I saw it an officer steps out into the street and flags down the oncomming cars, I have seen as many as 5 cars at the same time getting tickets in the parking lot. This stretch of road between Cumberland and Belmont is a speeders heaven the posted limit is 35 but everyone does 45 or 50.
63rd Street near Central Avenue
On 63rd Street between Cicero Avenue and Central there are several spots in Midway Airport’s drop off areas where cop cars will line up in groups of three to catch offenders.
Western Avenue near Roscoe Street
In between Kinko’s and the Bank on the corner.
