Hoffman Estates, Illinois Speed Traps

Watch your speed along this road.. it’s often patrolled.

From Bode and Salem just east of Keller Junior High to Roselle road the area always has at least one squad car sitting and waiting for speeders. The road is 25 mph and has a slight hill which makes it easy to go over the limit without thinking. It is a heavily used school route so there are lots of kids and buses around which warrants additional enforcement, but the police are there other times as well. I rarely do not see a squad on this road in this area. The usual spots are on the North side of the street just west of the gas station or up the road another block or s to the west from there.

Between Golf Road and Barrington Road there is an almost constant presence. Usually on the north side of the road in one of the parking lots after the High School. I live in the zone and there is a lot of activity.

Going east on Higgins, Passing Gannon. They usually sit in the high school or the tire place.

When heading East on Route 72 just past Plum Grove Road there is a cop car on the right hand side of the street in the American Chartered Bank parking lot. He is there almost everyday during the evening rush hour.
