Naperville, Illinois Speed Traps
Naper Blvd and Jane Ave (just south of Chicago Ave)
Northbound travel on Naper Blvd observed an unmarked Dodge Charger Wagon using laser technology at Jane Ave, just south of the Apartment Complex. The Dodge appears to be stopped at the STOP sign waiting to merge into traffic. The chase car, a police patrol unit waiting patiently behind the Dodge, is immediately dispatched to ticket the unsuspecting vehicle traveling in excess of the posted speed. Speed limit is 35 MPH. Observed March 15, 845 am. On my southbound return trip at 920 am, observed patrol car with lights blaring, pulled over behind a lady in a Volvo. Dodge still parked, hunting.
Naper Blvd just North of Bailey
Police cars like to setup in the parking lot for the Fire Dpt building on the north east corner of Naper and Bailey. This hides the cop from north bound traffic as the traffic descends the slight hill at the Bailey and Naper intersection. Cop is there mostly during the evening rush hour. Watch your speed as you approach Bailey.
